Assassination Classroom is an excellent anime series based on the manga of the same name. An explosion of extraordinary power destroys the moon, turning it into a crescent moon surrounded by debris. Responsibility for this is claimed by a strange monster that looks like a yellow upright octopus. He claims that he plans to destroy the Earth in the same way, but not immediately – it would be too boring – but in a year. He himself promises to teach children in the E-class of Kunugigaoka High School this whole year, and these same children must find a way to kill him before the deadline. It is almost impossible to kill the monster – it is incredibly fast, vulnerable to only one material and regenerates, so governments have no choice but to agree to its terms. So the monster turns out to be a teacher, gets the nickname “Koro-sensei” from the students, enters into a murderous relationship with them – and becomes the best teacher in their life.
